Preparation and Servers

Description: Our mission is to support and be a part of The Body by providing food and beverage services for members, volunteers, and staff. We are also the first point of service and ministry for many people at Gateway and therefore, it is our goal to support spiritual growth through ministry, service and community. The Food Service team is a great place to serve if you like food, food preparation, being a host or hostess, keeping things tidy, and welcoming people to Gateway.

BookHelper

Description: Our mission is to provide resources to Gateway members through books, small group materials and music. If the written word, learning and supporting spiritual growth bring you joy, the bookstore serving team is a great way to help others take next steps in spiritual growth. This team also supports community by brewing coffee and operating the café.

Description: Preparation of leaders for bigger serving opportunities, possibly a serving team lead or another position throughout Gateway Church. Journey for mature Christians….currently ready to follow God’s call to grow through serving and leading. Functional: EVITE Management – contact team members that have not responded by Thursday Organize Serving Area Prepare and plan for Sunday Service Attend regular Leader meetings Actively pursuing new Team Members Keep Team focused on the care of guests Spiritual: Shepherd Aspiring Leaders Attend individual meetings with Serving Team Leaders Spiritual Gifts Assessment – complete and have assessment analysis Participate in Small Group Running Partner – pursue or currently be in relationship Complete paperwork for Leadership at Gateway Church Committed to Buddy System – contact sheep that aren’t at church that week Way of Christ Affirmation complete of in process

Description: Small Group Leaders facilitate discussion and shepherd people who are involved in small groups on the Frontline teams. The small group will meet before each service for some short discussion and gathering time prior to meeting with the entore team for prayer. Materials will be provided....

Parking Set-up and Break Down

Description: Set-up and break-down of parking supplies...cones, horses and signs. Participant should be able to lift 20#. This roles serves rain or shine. Our teams serve together every other week and have regular outside activities that they participate in (lunch/brunch, parties, and community service) as a team.

Missions Coordinator

Description: Coordinates mission opporutnities for the members of Frontline Teams. Will plan monthly events that can accomodate individual teams and quarterly events that will be Serving group based. Research of opportunities in Austin and surrounding areas. Passion for missions and the desire to utilixe the large number of volunteers we currently have into mission minded as well as serving minded.

Zone and Serving Team Leaders will shepherd and guide aspiring leaders through friendship and community. Functional: Prepare and plan for Sunday Service with Zone Leaders Attend regular Zone meetings Actively pursuing new Team Members Keep focus on the care of guests Take on specific Weekly Tasks Buddy with 1-2 team members – special care for those that are new to your teams Spiritual: Contact “Buddy” if not at church or serving in past two service dates Commit to coffee or lunch with buddy Attend individual meetings with Zone Team Leaders Exploring Way of Christ Pursuing active leadership role Spiritual Gifts Assessment – complete and have assessment analysis Participate in Small Group or begin exploring the options available

Description: Assist with the administrative needs of the Frontline teams. Includes nametags, community room preparation, Evite maintenance, reporting, and organization of all service needs. Role can work from home and church....should have availibility Monday - Friday in daytime or evening hours.
